Providing Compassion & Hope: HART's Pet Boarding Initiative

We desperately need your help to launch HART: Housing for Animals during Recovery & Transition.

Right now, someone in our community is facing a crisis—hospitalization, a mental health emergency, domestic violence, or the decision to enter drug or alcohol treatment. Their fear of losing their pet because they have no one to care for them may be the barrier that prevents them from getting the help they need.

That’s where HART comes in.

HART provides short-term boarding for pets so their people can get the help they need without having to surrender or euthanize their beloved companions.

We’ve just launched—and already, we're housing 2 dogs and other urgent applications are starting to come in. But we’re still waiting for our 501(c)(3) approval, which means we haven’t been able to apply for grants yet. We’re turning to our community for help to cover these critical first cases. Your donation now will go directly toward:

• Emergency pet boarding fees.

• Food, supplies, updated vaccinations, and transport.

• Outreach to shelters, hospitals, and crisis centers.
