Provide Hope and Stability for a Grieving Family
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,
We are heartbroken to share that on June 18th, 2025, Francisco and his two children — Zenaida (9) and Reese (18) — recently suffered the devastating sudden loss of their wife and mother, Marcy. While Francisco and his family want to remain private about the painful details of this tragic loss, their need for support is as strong as ever.
Marcy loved her two children deeply. She was a loving mother who gave everything to her family. Her heart was big — the kind of person who made others feel seen, heard, and cared for. Marcy loved the ocean and found joy in swimming and spending time at the beach.
She also had big dreams. Her greatest ambition was to open her own insurance branch—not for personal gain, but to create a better future for her children. She pursued that goal with heart and determination, studying diligently and becoming a certified insurance agent—taking real, meaningful steps toward the life she envisioned for her family. Marcy believed in creating a life full of possibility — for herself, and especially for her kids.
This has been an incredibly difficult chapter for their family. Francisco has been doing everything he can to support and care for his children through a deeply painful and emotional time, while continuing to work full-time at a local grocery store in San Diego, where he has worked for the last 20+ years. He’s a devoted father who shows up for his kids every day — even when life has felt overwhelming.
The road ahead is uncertain, and the financial burden left behind is significant. This fundraiser is to help with:
❤️ Phase 1: Immediate Costs ($7,500)
Funeral & burial/cremation
Therapy/grief counseling (for kids and dad)
Time off work / emergency help
The first goal of this campaign is to raise $7,500 to help ease the immediate and long-term financial pressure this family is now facing. Any donation, no matter the size, will help provide relief, stability, and hope during an incredibly hard time.
When enough funds are raised, we hope to increase the amount for Phase 2 to provide future care & education support — let's help Reese and Zenaida go to college!!!
❤️ Phase 2: Long-term costs ($15,000)
Lost income
Childcare/after-school care
Education fund for the kids
If you aren’t in a position to give financially, please consider sharing this page with others. Every act of kindness counts. ❤️
Thank you for your support, love, and compassion.
