Howdy folks!

I am Amy and I live in Los Angeles, writing on behalf of a friend of mine who I have met through mutual friends on Facebook. I have gotten to know Sean a bit over the past several years because my heart went out to him due to his posts that showed he was in pain. Sean had a very difficult early life that set him up for more difficulty to seek help and support from others.

He has opened up to me recently and disclosed he is not eating on a regular basis due to financial and health setbacks.

Sean had a stroke, after which his friends were scarce. He had to give up his job and is on dialysis. He has, in a nutshell, come into hard times and is not often feeling the will to keep on keeping on.

I am setting up this fundraiser to see him have some healthy options and not have to go hungry. It has been hard for him to get back from the local food pantry, and his social support system needs building. It would mean the world to me to see him have funds to use Instacart and even maybe a meal plan that delivers, ideally.

Whatever you can give will be appreciated and he also cares for his teenage son part-time.

I will be so grateful because hope and food are much needed here to fight the good fight.

Times are really interesting and community is what people need to feel loved and cared for.
