On January 9, a devastating fire broke out at Mountain Creek Stables on Guthrie Road in Augusta County, tragically taking the life of 68-year-old Vickie Smith. Two others were present during the fire, and while two managed to escape, a total of four people have been displaced, losing all their belongings in the process.
The fire has left these individuals without a home and with nothing but the clothes on their backs. As they begin to rebuild their lives, they face the immense challenge of replacing personal belongings, securing housing, and covering day-to-day expenses during this difficult time.
We are reaching out to the community for support to help these victims recover from this tragedy. Your contributions will provide immediate relief for essentials such as clothing, food, and shelter. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in helping them regain stability and move forward.
We thank you for your kindness and generosity during this time of need. Together, we can help rebuild lives and bring hope to those affected by this unfortunate event.
