Provide Food and Meals for Displaced Lebanese Families

Hello, I am Kristin O'Connor. Several years ago, I was introduced to Lebanese friends who have since become family. I visited Beirut and fell in love with the beauty, culture, and friends. In 2020, after the August 4th explosion near Beirut, myself and another US-based Lebanese chef teamed up to start Chefs for Lebanon. We raised money and were able to give 100% of what we raised to feed individuals and families displaced from their homes after that horrific tragedy.

Today, the people of beautiful Lebanon are facing another humanitarian crisis. This time, I am teaming up with a friend (Mansour) on the ground in Beirut, who was instrumental in orchestrating and delivering food in 2020. Mansour has a team of volunteers helping him on the ground to distribute food parcels and meals. Food parcels will include canned and dry goods that Mansour and his team will purchase from small, local grocery stores who are also in need of support. They are also collaborating with local kitchens to prepare ready-to-eat meals.

This is a collaborative, on the ground effort to provide nourishment for families during a time of extreme humanitarian crisis. Advanced Car Rental in Beirut is coordinating with our team in Beirut to assist in distribution, Mansour is working with the non-profit 'Feed the Need' to make sure they are identifying those most in need, and working with volunteers who are spending their time cooking, packing and distributing food/parcels.

Our main objective is to provide food for displaced Lebanese families, helping them return home safely and with dignity. Please help us in any way you can, even a small donation makes a huge impact.
