Why We Need Your Help

The Tserha Aryam Holy Trinity Unity Monastery urgently needs assistance to provide essential resources—food, water, and clothing—to struggling families in the city of Gondar, Ethiopia. Due to ongoing political conflicts and violence, many families have been forced to flee their homes, leaving everything behind in search of safety. As a result, they have no access to basic necessities like food, clothing, or water. Despite their best efforts to ration what little they have, there is never enough to go around, especially when the little food available has to be shared among children.

The situation is further compounded by political persecution, which leaves many parents unable to care for their children when tragedy strikes. Amid this overwhelming crisis, the church is doing everything it can to keep families together and bring some joy to the children. However, they lack the necessary resources to continue this vital work. This is where we need your help.

Every donation will go directly to the Tserha Aryam Holy Trinity Unity Monastery, where our relative Azeb will use the funds to purchase and distribute food, water, and clothing to those in dire need. My name is Matthias, and I'm a 17-year-old from Santa Clarita, California. I am running this with the support of my parents, Helen and Samson Haile. I am deeply connected to this cause because my family hails from Ethiopia. I know that I am one of the lucky few Ethiopians who is living comfortably, and I believe it’s my responsibility to help those who are not as fortunate.
