Provide emergency supplies to people displaced by conflict

As some of you will know. There is currently a minor border conflict happening between Thailand and Cambodia with many people being internally displaced.

Over 100,000 civilians have fled the combat area as the border conflict continues to escalate. Entire families are abandoning their homes with nothing but what they can carry, seeking safety in surrounding areas. Many are being sheltered by local pagodas and generous neighbors, but with so many arriving at once, the need for basic essentials is already becoming desperate. The largest temporary camp in Cambodia is already sheltering 10,000 families with more arriving constantly.

Tarpaulins, shelters as well as water, food and medical supplies are urgently needed. It's rainy season in Cambodia which is further complicating matters.

Cambodia is a wonderful place with amazing people but it's still developing and has already had a rough history that it's still recovering from. With minimal government capacity to help those in need adequately.

My name's Dave and I'm currently living in Cambodia. I worked with refugees in Poland and homeless people in London. As well as a youth development charity in China for 6 years. For the last 2 years I have been blessed to live in this wonderful country with genuinely the most friendly and kind people I have ever met.

That’s why I’m starting this GoFundMe. My goal is to raise £10,000, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to buy and deliver essential supplies and secure emergency shelters for displaced families. I will cover all my personal costs during this time myself. So all your money will go where it matters most.

With your help, we will purchase and provide:

✅ 50kg bags of rice in bulk

✅ Pallets of bottled water

✅ Instant noodles and canned goods

✅ Gently used and new adult & children’s clothing

✅ Baby supplies – formula, diapers, wipes

✅ Basic first aid and medical supplies – bandages, disinfectants, first aid kits, common medicines.

✅ Hygiene products – soap, toothbrushes, feminine products

✅ Cattle and livestock feed – to help families care for the animals that are their only source of food and income

✅ Emergency housing – if we raise enough, we can rent local homes for families. Housing can cost as little as $100 a month, meaning we can shelter many families for very little.

Even a small donation goes a long way here. Together, we can make sure these families have food, clean water, clothing, medical supplies, care for their livestock, and safe places to sleep while they try to rebuild their lives.

War doesn’t just affect soldiers — it devastates families, especially the children caught in the middle. I believe if we can help, we should. Please donate whatever you can. Every single dollar, every bag of rice, every bottle of water, every bandage, every bag of cattle feed, and every roof we can put over a family’s head counts.
