Hi, my name's Emma and I'm fundraising for Cafe Mon Amis in Dewsbury. My mum Dawn has been running Cafe Mon Amis for the last 5 years, opening just before Covid. In those 5 years, she has suffered 6 break ins. Not only is this heart-breaking that these people can repeatedly steal from hard working business owners, but it makes it more and more challenging for small businesses to stay afloat in what we all know are relentlessly tough financial times.

My mum Dawn, is a pillar of the community. Cafe Mon Amis isn't just a cafe. It's a place where the people of Dewsbury and further afield come for a good old home cooker dinner, to meet people and socialise. For some of our customers, coming to Cafe Mon Amis is their place to come so they aren't spending their days alone. It's where friendships are formed, a real hub of life.

Cafe Mon Amis needs your help. We can't continue to be targeted by these people who think they can steal from a small business and get away with it. We need to prevent them getting access and to do so, we need to have shutters installed across the windows and doors. But they're expensive, and that's where we need your support.

Your contributions will go towards having shutters installed across the glass fronted cafe. Any donations you can afford would be hugely appreciated, and will help Cafe Mon Amis keep going and tell this disgusting people that we will not be beaten.
