Provide Becky with the support she needs to make a recovery!

Our beautiful friend Becky was diagnosed with Cancer in 2021. During this time Becky has shown superhuman levels of resilience! She's remained incredibly positive and focused intently on her health and wellbeing to set herself up for the best possible chance of recovery.

As so many of you know, Becky has left no stone unturned when it comes to researching alternative treatments, and staying dedicated to healing herself from every possible angle. Watching Becky's hard work focusing on herself is truly inspiring.

After receiving the standard treatments over the last three years, Becky is now receiving a final treatment which looks promising! The treatment can take up to 3 months to work so we want to keep our special girl safe, supported and wrapped up in cotton wool until she is feeling strong enough to focus her energy on her full recovery.

Becky was covered by Vitality at the time of her diagnosis however as she had seen the doctors about symptoms in the past (a common symptom related to her diagnosis) Vitality stated it was a pre-existing condition, despite the doctor confirming it was not. So her health insurance has not been covering Becky at all during this time.

Becky's current Employer has been covering sick pay, unfortunately as they are a small company, they are no longer able to financially support Becky. Although Becky has been extremely strong willed and brave and has continued with work on and off throughout her journey, Becky is now not fit to work due to the symptoms and side effects of the Cancer, in addition the side effects of the strong pain medication.

Like most of us, Becky finds it uncomfortable asking for and accepting help from others, she's a fiercely independent, confident and loving human, who is the first to offer her support. Becky's strong-willed spirit is what has gotten her through this journey so far; however now is the time for Becky to feel the support she truly deserves from everyone around her.

Becky has been very brave and has now decided it's time to reach out to the community for support as she can't do this last push alone.

Becky and her loved ones are extremely grateful for any donation amount. Every penny is helping to alleviate the financial worry from Becky, so she's able to protect her energy and push through these last few months of treatment, to set herself up for recovery and positive results we know she will receive.
