Provide Aid to support youth Displaced by Fire

Bourne Family Services, our organization, and much of the Altadena community were severely impacted by the Eaton Fire that began on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. The mission of Bourne Family Services, is to provide a positive home environment for at risk, 12-18 year old, boys and girls, in ways that encourage and empower them to live productive and fulfilled lives. By providing each child with intensive out-of-home care, supervision, therapeutic treatment and rehabilitation services while living at Bourne Family Services, there is an exponentially greater potential for them to successfully transition back to their family of origin or an appropriate family-based setting and live fuller and healthier lives.

As a result of the Eaton Fire, Bourne Family Services lost an entire home and all the contents within. This was home to our female residents and due to the quick and destructive nature of the fire all of their irreplaceable personal belongings were also casualties to this disaster. We are grateful that no residents or employees of Bourne Family Services have lost their lives but the loss and devastation of losing the home has been immense and heavy for the girls and the organization overall.

We are seeking donations to support Bourne Family Services as we navigate this situation, maintain operations for the children that remain in our care and begin the long road of rebuilding what has been lost.
