Help Us Provide a Safety Bed for My Nephew

We’re reaching out with grateful hearts and a deeply important request. As most know, my brother and Alis are not ones to ask for help, which is why I am starting this GoFundMe. My nephew lives with profound autism, and while he is the light of our family, his condition comes with significant safety challenges—especially at night.

Because insurance refuses to cover it, we’re unable to access the specialized safety bed he urgently needs. This bed isn’t a luxury—it’s essential. It would protect him from wandering, injury, and nighttime behaviors that put him at risk. It would also give my brother and our family the peace of mind that he is safe and secure while he sleeps.

Unfortunately, these beds are very expensive, and the cost is entirely out-of-pocket. That’s why we’re turning to our community for help.
