Proton Therapy in the Lungs

Hello everybody! As many of you know, I was diagnosed with Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma back in 2020. It was located only in my neck, but over the past 3 years, it has spread to my lungs. I have gone through 33 days of radiation and 4 surgeries total. My most recent surgery in July, was a lobectomy to remove some nodules in my right lung. As of February 2024, the nodules in my lungs have increased in size and number and we are now looking for another option for treatment. There is a clinic in Cleveland that offers proton therapy, which has proven to be effective against my type of cancer. I created this GoFundMe because my insurance will not cover the cost since it is out of state and is considered experimental and not medically necessary. As a father of 2 now, I really think this proton therapy will give me the best chance to beat my cancer and allow me to be in my kids’ lives pain free and without many limitations.
