Protest Gear Stolen by Police after Brutality

On August 30th, 2020 during a peaceful protest DC MPD assaulted many peaceful protesters and destroyed their property. Amongst them was a young woman, whose bike and other many personal items were taken and destroyed after the police attacked her. This bicycle was the only method of transportation used in her protest efforts as she was part of the bike team for several groups.

Since the incident, she has been forced to stay home to recover from her injuries vice work during this period forfeiting the opportunity to protect and lead her activists. The injuries the police graced her with led to a 1000USD medical bill sent to her for their violence against her.

We are looking to raise money to replace her property, and cover some of the medical costs that occurred as a result of the assault.
