Prótesis para Jesús Ávila

Hola! Soy Jesús Daniel Ávila. Tengo un diagnóstico llamado Tetra Amelia (sin extremidades), tengo 5 años y soy un niño feliz. Necesito $80,000.00 para comprar 2 prótesis de brazo.

Jesús Daniel viajará a Estados Unidos en enero al hospital de los Shriners quienes le            pondrán prótesis de piernas. Sin embargo, todavía necesitan el dinero para los brazos. 

Parte del dinero que se recaudó se utilizará para los costos de dicho viaje y el resto
seguirá siendo para los brazos.

Jesús suffers from a syndrome called TETRA AMELIA (absence of the 4 limbs) and during these 5 years, we (his parents), have struggled to give our son the best life he can possibly have. However, we do not have insurance and our low incomes do not allow us to provide him with prosthetics, wheelchairs or other instruments that can make Jesus’ life more comfortable.

Jesus Daniel is a super active child with a fighting heart and courageous spirit that does not get discouraged easily.

 Currently he is in first grade and is third in his class. As parents, we feel very fortunate to have him as a son. We always teach him the value of love and kindness. He likes to play with cars, swim and spend time with his brother and sister. His favorite color is red and his favorite character is Spiderman.

 Three years ago, he was accepted at the Shriners Hospital for Children to get prosthetic legs, but he still needs to get his arms and they cost around $80,000.00. For that reason, we are doing fundraising activities of all kinds to be able to get the money to afford his prosthetic arm.

 We thank you for your helping Jesus Daniel. We know that having a prosthetic arm would give him courage to grow as a self-sufficient and confident child.

Jesus Daniel will travel to the United States in January to the Shriners' hospital to get        prosthetic legs. However, he still needs the money for the prosthetic arms.

Part of the money raised will be used for the costs of that trip and the rest
will still be used to fund the arms.
