CUSTODY BATTLE PART 2
Donation protected
how wonderful all of the family, friends, advocacy groups, support groups and strangers that have stepped forward to help our cause!! we raised $4,000 to get us to here. we are nearly there and final trial is in exactly 4 weeks. i have also contacted written government respresentatives in both countries. i have a right to 50/50 custody and money can influence but with a lawyer, i know justice and truth will prevail. we need your help URGENTLY.
as some of you know, i have been fighting to keep my daughter since she was 4 years-old. i am a midwife and serve women and their families in the florida area. i have had to take a temporary leave of absence, since this custody battle requires my full attention and mothering. i am working full-time but litigation has cost me $30,000+ and as a single mother i do not have this type of funding.
those who know me, know i am an excellent mother, a dedicated and loving human being. an advocate for my daughter and her right to have a mother that loves her unconditionally. this always has, does and will be my priority, even over a career that is my passion but i will return to once this nightmare is over. for the record, i made florida my home, which was never intended so she could have a relationship with her father. i put her needs first and always will, there is no justice for me, this is about her. her happiness brings me such joy.
long story short, i found myself immigrating to this country when i was pregnant. it was never our plan to stay, and we were emmigrating to my native canada. once i gave birth, this person became somebody else. this will be a story of love, truth and overcoming tremendous odds. i intend to write a book about our journey and help other women who find themselves trapped. i am a survivior and never a victim.
we got free, but her father's family has deep pockets and have dragged us through the court system for 3+ years now. his hope is to obtain full custody based on absolutely nothing but his hope is to bankrupt me (it's working). he lives a comfortable life and plans to alienate her from her mother, forever. neither of us want this, neither of us deserve this.
we have final trial in just a month. i need to keep my lawyer as he's making HUGE gains. we have an outpouring of witnesses and those that know the truth and are putting themselves on the line to testify on our behalf.
we cannot stop him without a lawyer. we must pay him immediately the remaining retainer to ensure i do not have to represent myself against his team, yes team.
i implore you to donate, help, share, keep sharing. tell others, tell the media, tell strangers... a little girl's future depends on it.
let our story have a happy ending. we will not forget the generosity and support and we literally could not have done it without you. thank you for your strength, i will never have a happier day than to put this nonsense and vendetta that affects an innocent little girl, to bed.
then we can move on and serve others and our community.
love & gratitude,
jennifer and mini me xox
