A Fence to save Lives : Help Protect rescue Dogs and Cats

Hello, my name is Katy and I live in Peru.

I share my life with 7 dogs and 7 cats, most of them rescued animals, who depend entirely on me for their safety.

I live on an open property without a perimeter fence, facing a road with constant traffic. Despite doing everything I can to protect them, the lack of a secure enclosure has led to heartbreaking losses.

Over the years, I have:

lost a dog who escaped and was never found

lost a rescued dog who was run over by a vehicle

lost a cat (Yaku) who was killed in a dog attack

lost a dog (Usuy) who also died after being attacked

A few days ago, Noah, one of my dogs, was hit by a vehicle and nearly died. He is now recovering, but this incident was the breaking point. I can no longer wait for another tragedy to act.

WHAT IS THIS FUNDRAISER FOR?

This fundraiser is to build a basic but safe perimeter fence, including:

stone base, cement, and concrete

concrete blocks

columns

a functional gate (OSB panels reinforced with metal sheets)

labor costs

This is not a luxury project.

It is about prevention, safety, and peace of mind for my animals and my family.

The estimated cost is USD 5,300, which will be used exclusively for the fence and gate construction.
