If you’ve been following our chicken adventures on TikTok, you know how much love, time, and care goes into our little flock family. We live in the South, where tornado season is no joke—and with high-risk weather days becoming more frequent, our situation has become more urgent.

Right now, we don’t have a basement, garage, or a safe place to go during a tornado. Our closest public storm shelter is about 15 minutes away—and when sirens are going off, that’s time we simply don’t have. Even worse, there’s no way for us to safely transport our chickens during an emergency. We’re left sheltering in a closet while our flock is outside in harm’s way. The coop has taken damage during several storms, one of which resulted in the passing of our young chicken, Ham. Ham’s passing broke my heart and I would love to provide a secure place for the rest of our beloved flock.

This GoFundMe is to raise funds for a storm shelter we can install on our property—one big enough to protect us and our chickens when severe weather hits. Your support would give us peace of mind knowing we’ll have a safe place to ride out the storm, and our animals won’t be left behind.
