Protecting My Kids Alone – Help Me Avoid Foreclosure & Cover Legal Fees
I am a mother of two doing everything I can to protect my children during a difficult legal battle. Despite a court order meant to preserve our home, I have been denied access to marital funds and have received no support. We are now facing foreclosure, and I urgently need help to cover legal fees and keep a roof over our heads.
I am a single mother of two children, facing an overwhelming combination of legal battles, housing threats, and withheld support. I am fighting to protect my kids — legally, emotionally, and financially — but I cannot do it alone anymore.
Although the court issued a status quo order meant to preserve our housing and shared financial responsibilities, I have not received any of my marital share. The other party has withheld all support, including funds for housing, legal expenses, or basic needs — leaving me to cover everything while also parenting full time and trying to stay afloat.
We are now in foreclosure, with $29,024.05 past due on our mortgage and $7,000 owed in HOA dues (including $4,000 more than 90 days late). My attorney has also requested $7,500 to proceed with the next round of legal motions and filings that are crucial to protecting my children in court.
I am working as a freelancer in multiple fronts, but the system has created a situation where justice and safety are out of reach unless I can fund the legal protection my family deserves.
I am not asking for luxuries. I am asking for breathing room — enough to protect my children from losing their home and to continue showing up in court with the legal support they deserve.
If you are able to contribute or share, I am deeply grateful. Every dollar goes toward securing stability and justice for my family. Thank you for standing with us.
