On October 22, 2020, the Morales family lost our beloved Lela, my grandmother Ivany Morales. Unfortunately, her passing has left behind not only a hole in our hearts but a bit of financial strain for our family. In lieu of flowers, we are asking our friends and family if they would be willing to help with a small gift so that we can accomplish the following: 1. Protecting Lelo - Lelo has been completely devastated by the loss of his wife of 61 years. We want to be able to improve his living conditions (including cleaning out and storing my grandmother's things) as quickly as possible so that he can live the rest of his life in peace and comfort. 2. Finalize Lela's final resting place - The place available for Lela's ashes was more expensive than we originally planned for. We hope to provide Lela (and Lelo)with the most peaceful and beautiful resting place after a life of working hard and caring for others. 3. Cover her outstanding medical bills - During her final year, Lela spent time in three different nursing homes as well as the hospital. There were also various costs to provide her with care and comfort that were not covered by her insurance. We hope to pay off those bills soon so that the companies can stop calling my grandfather and reminding him of his loss. Any gifts are greatly appreciated.
