The Maya Forest of southern Mexico is one of the last remaining homes of the jaguar.
In remote communities, this forest survives because local people protect it.
Through workshops with children, we help shape the next generation of guardians of this habitat.
Reaching these children today helps give jaguars — and the Maya Forest — a future.
Our goal is €2,000. This will allow us to run the first program in march and expand to three more communities later this year, reaching 80 children in total.
Every euro goes directly to the project: learning materials for the children, meals during the sessions, and transportation to the communities for the trainers.
The workshops will be led by Mexican jaguar biologist Gaby St. Martin, my mentor and an experienced educator who has worked with these communities for years.
Please donate to support this conservation program and protect the jaguars.
Thank you for being part of this effort, it means more than I can express.
