Hello,

We are trying to raise funds for a lawyer to get Zulma back, by applying for conservatorship. It has been over 6 months since the process has started and due to lack of fund we have been self represented. Family members of Zulma's contested who have not cared for her or even talked to her for more than 10 years due to her living situations. The public guardian (government-provided) thought it was best to put her in a group home. We have seen that Zulma doesn't get undivided attention there as she would with us. On top of that she has limited visitation which is every 4 days and only 10 minute for everyone.

We have been helping and caring for her the past couple of years. Zulma asked

Rogelio, my dad, to take care of her and her only wish was to not be placed in a home.

Zulma has been through a lot from being scammed to being abused by those around her. Once she became aware that the people around her were taking advantage of her she came to us for help. Since then we have stood in her corner helping her resolve her issues from her living environment to her finances.

We believe it is best to obtain a lawyer as it looks like the government is not on our side and will take her away from the people who have loved and cared for her.

Zulma is an amazing loving person who loved to help people and animals with no questions asked. Just as she has helped us and all those around her we want to help her.
