48.5 km Summer Solstice 20 Bridges night swim around Manhattan Island. 21st June 2024

WildFish is the only independent charity in the UK campaigning for wild fish and their environment. We do this by seeking to eliminate the threats they face in fresh and coastal waters. Our goal is sustainable populations of wild fish.
Myself, Laura Reineke, Henley Mermaid , Marketing & Fundraising manager at WildFish, along with
Lee Saudan, Director of Marketing, Isle of Wight Sanctuary, will be swimming in tandem around Manhattan Island. Both swimming the full distance, alongside each other.
Usual channel swimming rules apply, only wearing a swimming costume, hat, goggles & earplugs. Fed on a line with liquid feeds and the odd treat, swimming non-stop.

East River:

This swim is part of a triple crown of swims (completed by only 331 people) which include English Channel (Which Lee completed in 2022, and Laura in 2023), and Catalina Channel in California.
