Hi everyone! My name is Aaron Renaud, I'm with North Texas Fair Housing Center and we're raising money for vulnerable seniors in Fort Worth that may lose their housing due to neglect by the owners. More information about that here.

Manor Independent Living is a senior housing community in Fort Worth whose residents are now facing displacement and the urgent need to relocate. Many residents are elderly, veterans, or low-income, including residents receiving Section 8 and VASH assistance. North Texas Fair Housing Center is raising funds to help residents who need immediate assistance with moving expenses, temporary lodging, and securing replacement housing.

We cannot predict how much will be raised or how quickly, but we will prioritize assistance for residents without federally subsidized housing support. Every contribution will help give Manor residents more options and greater stability during an extremely difficult transition. No money will go to anyone but the tenants in need, or their housing providers. Any leftover money will be put towards the rehabilitation of Manor Independence Living for equitable access.
