Help Fund the Community Fight Against Gas Drilling.

We are a growing community campaign bringing together residents, local groups and supporters concerned about a proposed gas drilling development in Foxholes, North Yorkshire.

Drawing a Line in the Chalk was formed because many local people believe these proposals threaten our countryside, water supply, wildlife, rural roads, heritage and quality of life. Communities across the area are working hard to ensure local voices are heard clearly and fairly during the planning process.

We are raising funds to support:

* Independent expert advice

* Planning and technical review work

* Ecology and environmental assessment

* Printing and campaign materials

* Public awareness and community outreach

* Representation at planning committee and consultations

This is a genuine grassroots campaign powered entirely by volunteers. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps local residents stand together and participate effectively in the planning process.

We believe communities should have a strong voice in decisions that may affect where they live, work and raise families.
