Protect the life of a father facing deportation

We have set up this go fund me to raise funds for legal costs to hire a solicitor to challenge a deportation for a father who is going to be permanently separated from his children. Also lose a right to very important medical and mental health treatment.

Abdullahi Suleman came to Britain in 1993 as a young child fleeing a devastating war where he lost a significant number of family members. He was awarded indefinite leave to remain.

He has intergrated into British society and has settled down with a British woman and has two daughters aged 16 years old and 7 years old. Who are British born citizens.

Abdi has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder mental illness which is a result from the childhood trauma he suffered in a devastating war .

He was given an IPP sentence of a 2 year tariff to serve in 2005 for a non-violent offence . He was given a 10 year license condition upon release from the the prison .After his release he was recalled to prison for missing an appointment which was part of his license conditions. Missing the appointment was a breech of license and caused an automatic recall.

Since being in prison on recall he has suffered two serious injuries which one of them was a permanent life changing injury . He suffered a brain injury which was caused through being attacked and the cranium bone was broken at the front of his skull and led to him being left with a permanent mood and memory impairment which happened in prison . His second injury was caused through a metal radio aerial being deeply embedded into his arm which happened in prison.He was left for two years without medical checks being done and the only reason medical checks were done was because he was transferred into a mental health hospital from prison. He is left without treatment.

He has also been taken off his bipolar medication. Now the supervising officer has requested for deportation and he has been given a deportation order from the home office.

He has already served his sentence. He has never returned to Somalia since coming to Britain, he has no connections in Somalia and has also forgotten most of the lauguage.

Moving him from the UK will destroy his mental health and leave him with untreated serious injuries he suffered in the UK. He will have no access to treatment of his health conditions if he was deported.

It will break him up from his family and leave his children without a father . He will be taken away from all that he has known.

He deserves a right to medical and mental health treatment and right to a relationship with his children and his children deserve a right to a relationship with there dad.
