Protect Robert Ince from Winter Homelessness
Donation protected
My friend, Robert Ince, has been deaf since birth. He lived with his parents until their deaths and then moved into public housing. Unfortunately, he was evicted due to the actions of his girlfriend and moved in with his much older sister. She died on August 1st this year, and Robert has been left homeless. We have no homeless shelters in our county, and public housing has rejected him. He is one of a significant number of homeless in our town, but his situation is unique because he cannot hear or speak clearly. Usually, homeless people are escorted out of town when identified, but he could be in great danger if left to himself with no protection.
We are hoping to get him into temporary housing until he will once again qualify for public housing somewhere in our county. Any contributions that will give him a place to be protected and safe during the winter would be most appreciated.
