Our village of Questa is facing the proposed construction of a hydrogen plant, which threatens the pastoral beauty and environment that make our home so special. Our group, the Questa Watershed Protectors, along with concerned citizens, is a grassroots collection of neighbors and friends who have come together to defend our land, water, and way of life. We believe that the unique character of Questa is worth fighting for, and we are committed to ensuring that future generations can enjoy the same natural beauty and sense of community that we cherish today.

The proposed plant would be built on a Superfund site that has not been fully remediated, less than a mile from Alta Vista Elementary School. There is currently no construction plan or mitigation strategy in place, raising serious concerns for the safety of our children and community. In the midst of a drought, the idea of using even more fresh water to keep toxic waste down during construction of an explosive plant is deeply troubling.

To stand up for our village, we need your help. Funds raised will go directly toward printing educational materials, organizing community events, supporting outreach efforts, and covering legal fees. Every dollar will help us raise awareness, advocate for our village, and ensure we have the resources needed to make our voices heard.
