My name is Michael Center and I'm a veterinarian and educator. Five years ago, I began working on a project to create a digital badging program for veterinary students that would guide and incentivize them to acquire valuable skills for their future profession. My goal was to identify skills that were challenging to master in a standard vet school curriculum and make guidelines that students could follow while they were working in externships to master these skills. After they master the skill, they meet with faculty at their vet school and receive a digital badge that acts as a credential for a future career. My ultimate goal is to launch this program at as many vet schools as possible, without any cost to veterinary students.

I am now being sued by a multi-million dollar organization for control of the process I created. I am a veterinary resident making just enough to get by and need help protecting my passion project.
