Protect Lucky: Support for Legal Fees

I love my Aruba dogs more than life. Yes, they have some issues, but they love me and my family, and we love them with all our hearts.

In the 8 years, there have been accidents where they would get out of the yard and run around loose. They have never hurt anyone. But recently, they got out, and one of my dogs got spooked when he saw a man and bit him on the leg, then ran back home. Not severely, but a bite is a bite. I am horrified and terrified that my dogs will be taken away from us. I feel awful that he hurt someone, but he is not a vicious dog. I think he got scared and reacted badly.

I'm doing everything I can to prevent them from ever getting out again. My gate is permanently locked, I'm putting up an electric fence in my fenced in yard just to not even have him near the fence, and in my house to keep them from even going near the door. I'm also getting Lucky the best professional dog trainer on the entire south coast. But the town is having a meeting about my dogs, and I'm scared they could be euthanized. There is an amazing attorney that defends dogs in cases like this, but his retainer fee is 5K. I am desperately asking anyone if they can help me. You would be saving their lives. Thank you ❤️
