Hi, We are a group of Lincolnshire residents fighting to save our precious countryside, its wildlife and our small rural community from oil development. It has been an 8-year battle so far and in March 2022 we succeeded in persuading Lincolnshire County Council to reject Egdon Resources’ plans to build an oil site in this beautiful rural location at North Kelsey Moor, a haven for wildlife & people. But the oil company doesn't care what local people think and they have appealed to the Secretary of State to overturn the Council's decision. We need funds to pay for expert and legal advice so that we can participate in the Appeal process to ensure that local democracy is not overturned. We have fought for 8 years and we're not giving up now. A win for us will also help set a precedent for other small communities across the UK trying, like us, to have their voices heard as we fight to protect our environment.
