Help Save Jon Gebbia from Deportation: A Friend, Husband, Father, and Community Pillar in Crisis
I'm James, a longtime friend of Jon’s, and I’m reaching out to ask for your help in keeping his family from being torn apart. Jon has spent most of his life in the United States—raising a family, paying taxes, and contributing to his community. He was left here as a child at just 11 years old and, ever since, has been trapped in a political and legal nightmare, just waiting for his citizenship to be approved. Now, he is facing imminent deportation, and his only hope is hiring a skilled immigration attorney—one that he simply cannot afford after several recent hardships.
Jon is more than just a statistic. He is a devoted husband and father, a hardworking manager, a talented musician, and a friend who always brings kindness and a smile to those around him. His contributions to his community and his unwavering spirit have made him an irreplaceable part of our lives.
But recent times have tested him in ways no one should have to endure. He was laid off from his job and survived a near-death medical experience shortly after. Although he's now healthy and employed, recovering from the financial burden of medical bills has made it impossible for him to afford the strong legal representation he needs to fight his deportation case. Without help, he will be forced to leave behind the life he’s built, the family he loves, and the country he proudly calls home.
This is where we come in. We are asking for your support to help Jon secure the legal defense he needs to stay with his family and continue being the incredible friend, father, and community member that he is. Every dollar brings him closer to safety and security.
Please consider donating and sharing this campaign. Let’s stand together for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness by standing together with Jon.
All funds raised will go directly to Jon and his legal fight. In the event we over-achieve, any additional funds will be used to help Jon and his family recover from the financial hardship they've experienced as a result of his legal battle and medical bills.
