I’m Patrick Harter, owner of Harter Contracting LLC in Utah. My company along with many other small businesses has been devastated by Haven Hub LLC, a contractor that collected money from homeowners but failed to pay the subcontractors and suppliers who did the work. We’re raising funds to cover legal fees, pay affected small businesses, and remove liens from innocent homeowners properties. Your support helps us fight for fairness and hold Haven Hub accountable.

Harter Contracting LLC, a licensed general contracting company based in Roy, Utah. For years, my team and I have worked hard to build a business based on honesty, quality, and trust and helping homeowners turn their visions into reality while supporting dozens of hardworking subcontractors and suppliers across multiple states.

Unfortunately, we along with many other small businesses have been deeply impacted by the unethical business practices of a company called Haven Hub LLC.

What Happened

Haven Hub operated as a “prime contractor” on residential projects across Utah, Arizona, California, and Texas. They hired small businesses like mine to perform the work, collected money from homeowners and financing companies, and then failed to pay the subcontractors and suppliers who completed the jobs.

Harter Contracting and many others fulfilled our contracts in good faith, providing labor, materials, and equipment at our own expense. Despite completing the work and submitting all required documentation, Haven Hub withheld payment, leaving us and dozens of other family owned companies unpaid in some cases for hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Even worse, many homeowners now face liens on their properties, despite having already paid Haven Hub in full. This situation has devastated honest businesses and caused unnecessary stress and financial hardship for both contractors and clients.

What We Are Raising Funds For

We are raising funds to help cover critical costs needed to fight back and protect the innocent people caught in the middle, including:

1. Legal Fees: To pursue justice and hold Haven Hub and its executives accountable for nonpayment, breach of contract, and misuse of funds.

2. Paying Subcontractors and Suppliers: To help the small businesses that performed the work but were never paid.

3. Removing Liens from Homeowners Properties: To ensure that families who paid Haven Hub aren’t forced to suffer financially because of their deception.

Every dollar raised will go toward these efforts to restore what was lost, defend small businesses, and bring accountability to those responsible.
