Protect Harp Twins and Harptopia!

We really appreciate your continued contributions above our initial protection “goal” because we still have additional expenses coming to keep up with our home security and protection. So, funding received over our goal for this campaign will still be used for the ongoing costs and fees associated with safety measures, as well as implementing security and safety measures for our tours. 
 
Although not currently stalking us in our home area, we have other very problematic stalkers in other states who have been permanently blocked from our social media and banned from our live events. Some of those individuals have still tried to gain access to us as well as our concerts.

A GoFundMe Campaign for home security and protection? Unfortunately, yes. We never thought we would reach the point that we needed to ask for help in protecting ourselves, our family, and our home. However, for the past year and a half we have had multiple disturbed stalkers who have separately moved from other parts of the United States and live in their vehicles in our area trying to make contact with us. The two most recent individuals left their home states (Florida and South Carolina) to (separately) spend months living in their cars, driving by our home, posting veiled threatening innuendos online, hanging out in local parks, posting taunting photos at our local businesses, neighborhoods, landmarks, etc. One stalker even applied for a job where he thought that he could intercept our mail. These two men had previously been blocked from all of our social media sites and told explicitly that they were/are banned from all Harp Twins events, but it has not deterred their efforts to “find” and follow us. The most problematic current stalker is a man who has been living in his vehicle in our area for 3 months and drives by our home several times a day. He has a public arrest record for aggravated battery. Because of these stalkers, we can no longer take walks with our mom, visit our local parks, open our curtains, or feel safe running errands, grocery shopping, or picking up our mail. We and our mom are stressed and exhausted from living life looking over our shoulders. We are constantly worried and scared on a daily basis because of the stalking behavior of these unstable and disturbed individuals.

 

The police have been notified, and everything has been done on that end that we can currently do. We cannot provide more information about that subject. Both of these individuals have public arrest records.

 

What your money will be used for:

All of the contributions to this campaign will go directly towards procuring, installing, and implementing protective measures for our home and family. We cannot give specifics about the home defense and safety measures, as that might provide our stalkers with information that they can use to further jeopardize our safety and security. Any amount received over our “goal” for this campaign would still be used for the ongoing costs and fees associated with some of these safety measures, additional/supplemental protection measures, and for implementing security and safety measures that will make our tours safer from stalkers. Although they are not currently stalking us in our home area, we have other very problematic stalkers in other states who have been permanently blocked from our social media and banned from our live events. Some of those individuals have still tried to gain access to us as well as well as our concerts.

Please do not feel any obligation or pressure to help us out with this endeavor! We completely understand that contributing to this campaign is not for everyone. Please don't contribute if you're low on money - we know what that feels like. We will continue to make music videos and online content that will be available to watch for FREE. We will continue to find ways to tour and perform so that we can share our music and meet more of you!
