My name is Kiandria Demone. I am a Black activist and entrepreneur who has been repeatedly attacked for standing up against racism and injustice. Over the past year, I have faced targeted harassment campaigns, stalking, and wrongful accusations that have stripped me of my civil rights and put my safety at risk.

This is not an isolated incident. I have been forced into legal battles before, including a lawsuit involving a business owner who tried to silence me. Now, I am once again facing harassment that has escalated to threats on my life.

One of the most disturbing examples came after I spoke out in defense of a teenager. A woman in her 30s made a sexual remark to him. When he said he was uncomfortable, she told him he was “old enough to take it” and then mocked him for trying to set a boundary. He was bullied as a result, and I refused to stay silent. I called it out for what it was.

That is when the retaliation against me exploded. People began circulating bloody AI-generated images of me and even offering to pay someone to assault me. That level of violence is not only terrifying but a direct attempt to silence me. This is not just trolling. This is targeted, coordinated harassment with real-life consequences.

This constant targeting is not just an attack on my personal reputation, it undercuts my ability to do meaningful work in my community. And it sends a message to every Black woman who dares to speak up that their lives are disposable.

This is bigger than me. What I am fighting is a culture where people think they can attack, harass, and weaponize lies against Black women with no consequences. What starts as online harassment turns into real-world harm. And unless we set an example now, they will keep doing it to the next person.

We must make it clear that harassment is not entertainment and that targeting Black activists is not acceptable. Together we can send a message that protecting Black women and defending our civil rights is non-negotiable.

How your contributions will be used:

Retaining legal counsel to pursue justice through civil and criminal processes.

Improving personal and family security measures, including travel safety, home security, and securing my personal information and address.

Ensuring the safety of my minor child, so he is protected from retaliation and intimidation.

Hiring a licensed private investigator to track and identify individuals who are hiding behind online accounts to incite harassment and violence.

Covering technology and digital forensics costs to preserve evidence, trace threats, and strengthen the legal case.

Building broader advocacy efforts to push for accountability and protections so that this cannot keep happening to Black women.

This fight is not just about one person. It is about defending the right of Black women to speak, to lead, and to live without fear. Every contribution fuels this fight and helps ensure there are real consequences for people who believe harassment is a game.

The long term vision: This fund is not just about me. I plan to use The Onyx Fund to eventually provide support for other Black women who face similar harassment and need funding for legal aid or safety measures. I will also create educational content and possibly books that expose these cycles and equip Black women with tools to protect themselves. 

This has not yet been organized into a nonprofit. That is the long term goal. In the meantime, Black women who need assistance will be able to reach out to me directly through my social media or website as I build the application process for support. 

This fight is not just about one person. It is about defending the right of Black women to speak, to lead, and to live without fear. Every contribution fuels this fight and helps ensure there are real consequences for people who believe harassment is a game.
