Protect Animals in Cyprus and Corfu. Lets make a difference!

Hi everyone, my name is Cordelia. For those of you that don't know me, animal protection is a cause that’s incredibly close to my heart. After relocating from Malta to Cyprus, I brought my rescue cats, Tiggy and Taco-Belle, with me, and since then, we've grown our animal family from 2 to 4, and now to 8, including 3 rescue dogs.

In Cyprus, I’ve been actively involved in fostering + rehoming 15 kittens and cats (our last little lady left yesterday), setting up a local neutering scheme, and providing care for animals needing veterinary attention.

After experiencing the heartbreaking loss of a pet who was poisoned, my family and I are even more determined to spread compassion and kindness to animals across Europe. But there’s still so much more to be done.

This year, I’m running my first half marathon, KASSIOS DIAS in Kassiopi, Corfu, a place that has been like a second home to me since my teenage years. It’s a fitting place to begin this challenge, as it’s a very special place for me and my whole family.

The funds I raise will go towards supporting three incredible charities:

Kassioipi Cat Meow (Kassiopi, Corfu)- they do amazing work with neutering around 150 cats a year

Project Paws (Cyprus)- rescues and rehomes Cyprus cats all across Europe

Nicosia Dog Shelter (Cyprus), where we got our rescue dog Dinah from. Seriously underfunded but they do an amazing job to rehome and rehabilitate abandoned dogs

Every year, I challenge myself to raise funds and awareness for animals who are victims of cruelty, abuse, and neglect. Your donations will help these organisations continue their vital work, giving animals in need a chance at a better life.
