Save the Amazon rainforest: Support us, the Guayusa Runa Kichwa Family!
We, the Kichwa family Guayusa Runa, have a unique opportunity to buy 80 hectares of pristine rainforest in the Amazon and save it from imminent destruction by an oil company. The current owner of the land is already in talks with us. He would rather sell the rainforest to our family than to the company that wants to drill for oil. This drilling would inevitably lead to deforestation, loss of biodiversity, pollution of the forest, the groundwater and the adjacent river.
But we can stop it! The owner needs the money. But he's given us until January 2025 to raise the money. Together we can save the rainforest and protect the habitat of many species of animals and plants. For the Kichwa community, the rainforest is not only their livelihood, but also their cultural heritage and home.
How will we achieve this?
The owner has all the necessary paperwork. We will, of course, have the purchase legally verified by a lawyer. At the same time, we are trying to raise additional funds to ensure the long-term care and protection of the area.
In order to sustainably protect the area, we plan to generate additional income through research projects (especially in biology and medicine) and gentle ecotourism. We already have experience in these areas. In our village of Guayusa Runa, we introduce tourists to the diversity of life in the rainforest and are already working successfully with universities.
Together, we have a unique opportunity to preserve the Amazon rainforest and ensure the future of the countless animals that live in this unique ecosystem. Salva la selva amazónica: ¡apoya a nuestra familia kichwa Guayusa Runa!
Nosotros, la familia kichwa Guayusa Runa, tenemos la oportunidad única de comprar 80 hectáreas de selva tropical virgen en la región amazónica y salvarla así de la amenaza de destrucción por parte de una empresa petrolera. El actual propietario de las tierras ya está dialogando con nosotros. Prefiere vender la selva a nuestra familia que a la empresa que planea perforar en busca de petróleo. Esta perforación conduciría inevitablemente a la deforestación, la pérdida de biodiversidad y la contaminación de la selva, las aguas subterráneas y el río.
Pero nosotros podemos impedirlo. El propietario depende del dinero, pero nos ha dado de plazo hasta enero de 2025 para recaudar los fondos necesarios. Juntos podemos salvar la selva y proteger el hábitat de numerosas especies animales,aves y vegetales. Para la comunidad kichwa, la selva no es solo su medio de vida, sino también su patrimonio cultural y su hogar.
¿Cómo queremos conseguirlo?
El propietario tiene todos los papeles necesarios. Por supuesto, haremos que un abogado garantice legalmente la compra. Al mismo tiempo, estamos intentando recaudar dinero adicional a través de fondos para garantizar el cuidado y la protección de la zona a largo plazo.
Para proteger la zona de forma sostenible, planeamos generar ingresos adicionales mediante proyectos de investigación (sobre todo en biología y medicina) y mediante un ecoturismo suave. Ya tenemos experiencia en estos ámbitos. En nuestra aldea de Guayusa Runa, familiarizamos a los turistas con la diversidad de la vida en la selva tropical y ya hemos trabajado con éxito con universidades.
Juntos tenemos ahora una oportunidad única de preservar la selva amazónica y asegurar el futuro de los innumerables animales que viven en este ecosistema único. Aprovechemos esta oportunidad para marcar una verdadera diferencia y preservar la belleza y la diversidad de la selva tropical para las generaciones venideras. Rettet den Amazonas-Regenwald: Unterstützt unsere Kichwa-Familie Guayusa Runa!
Wir, die Kichwa-Familie Guayusa Runa haben die einzigartige Möglichkeit, 80 Hektar unberührten Regenwald im Amazonasgebiet zu kaufen und damit vor der drohenden Zerstörung durch eine Ölfirma zu bewahren. Der derzeitige Eigentümer des Landes ist bereits mit uns im Gespräch. Er würde den Regenwald lieber an unsere Familie verkaufen als an die Firma, die plant, dort nach Öl zu bohren. Diese Bohrungen würden unweigerlich zur Abholzung des Waldes, zum Verlust der Biodiversität, zur Verschmutzung des Waldes, Grundwassers und des angrenzenden Flusses führen.
Doch wir können das verhindern! Der Eigentümer ist auf das Geld angewiesen, hat uns aber für die Beschaffung der Mittel eine Frist bis Januar 2025 eingeräumt. Gemeinsam können wir den Regenwald retten und den Lebensraum zahlreicher Tier- und Pflanzenarten schützen. Für die Kichwa-Gemeinschaft ist der Regenwald nicht nur Lebensgrundlage, sondern auch kulturelles Erbe und Heimat.
Wie wollen wir das schaffen?
Der Eigentümer verfügt über alle notwendigen Papiere. Wir werden selbstverständlich den Kauf rechtlich abgesichert durch einen Anwalt abwickeln lassen. Parallel dazu bemühen wir uns um zusätzliche Gelder durch Fonds, um die langfristige Pflege und Sicherung des Gebiets zu gewährleisten.
Um das Gebiet nachhaltig zu schützen, planen wir, durch Forschungsprojekte (insbesondere in Biologie und Medizin) sowie durch sanften Ökotourismus zusätzliche Einnahmen zu generieren. Wir haben bereits Erfahrung in diesen Bereichen. In unserem Dorf Guayusa Runa bringen wir Touristen die Vielfalt des Lebens im Regenwald nahe und arbeiten schon jetzt erfolgreich mit Universitäten zusammen.
Gemeinsam haben wir jetzt die einmalige Chance, den Amazonas-Regenwald zu bewahren und die Zukunft der unzähligen Tiere, die in diesem einzigartigen Ökosystem leben, zu sichern.
