Prostate cancer - Upgrade my personal Car Racing safety gear
Donation protected
I am Martin Wright 15 years old and an international racing driver. I have competed in kart racing for the last 7 years and I am a 2x British Open Champion, ranked 9th in the world in the Tillotson T4 Junior class. I have just taken my ARDS Car racing license and I am in the process of transitioning from kart to car racing.
I am going to challenge myself to do 150 push-ups a day during the month of January. Fitness forms an essential part of my life and toward my racing career. I usually train 2x a day, 7 days a week to be the best I can be for everything in my life. On top of my regular training 150 push-ups every day is going to challenge me.
The funds raised will be equally shared between fundraising for prostate cancer and raising funds for the essential upgrade of all my personal safety equipment to comply with regulations for car racing. Fire retardant undergarments, race suit, boots, gloves and helmet.
Prostate cancer is the most common male cancer and it's a cause that is personally close to me and my family members. I would be delighted to raise funds to support the innovative research and cure for this disease.
I would be very appreciative if you would support me with my challenge and assist me with raising funds.
