Prospera's Spring Campaign for Wellness Education
Tax deductible
Want to join me in making a difference? This spring, I'm raising money to benefit wellness education; training teachers, offering scholarships for worthy students, and even developing hygiene programs for incarcerated women!
Prospera means "thrive" in Spanish. We create and support projects that promote public health through collaboration. We hire local Panamanians to recycle hotel waste soap into new bars and deliver it to vulnerable populations as a life-saving commodity! We also affect life long health by educating students and teachers on the importance of good hand hygiene
This year Prospera is explicitly collaborating with the Fundación Pro Educación. They will use funds to provide scholarships for first-grade students in the vulnerable Santa Ana Community and purchase tablets for their educational lab.
$10 buys a box of 35 bars of soap for teacher's classroom.
$25 pays for one teacher to attend our hygiene education workshop (including all necessary kits, games and supplies).
$50 buys a soap recycling kit for an incarcerated woman (gloves, hairnets, peeler, apron and mold).
$100 provides a scholarship to a high school graduate for a collegiate course online.
$520 buys a full equipped tablet for expanding learning potential!
$1,780 pays for one year tutoring and educational scholarship for a first grader from the Santa Ana Community.
