My name is Nurzhana, and I am reaching out to you with a plea for help for my 4-year-old son, Mambetaliev Dair Samatovich (born on August 5, 2020). Until recently, he was a happy and active child—running, jumping, and playing like any other kid. However, after suffering from a cold, his condition deteriorated.

At first, doctors diagnosed him with acute bronchitis. After treatment, he seemed to improve, but his cough persisted. Then he began complaining of chest pain (we did an echocardiogram), pain under his arms, and discomfort in the left side of his neck (we did an ultrasound of his abdomen and all lymph nodes). We also ran all necessary tests. The doctor diagnosed him with a viral infection and prescribed treatment.

Unfortunately, after this last round of treatment, his condition suddenly worsened—his fever spiked to 40°C (104°F), he had difficulty breathing, a severe cough, and extreme weakness. He lay there with his eyes closed, unable even to cry. We immediately took him to the pediatrician, who ordered another ultrasound (of his internal organs and lymph nodes) and a chest X-ray. He was urgently hospitalized at the 3rd Children's Hospital with a diagnosis of pneumonia (pleurisy).

Doctors had to drain fluid from his lungs, and due to his critical condition, he was placed in intensive care. He underwent another X-ray and a CT scan of the chest and mediastinum. The CT scan revealed a large mass in his chest, and doctors decided to transfer him to the Oncology Department of the National Center for Oncology and Medical Diagnostics for further examination.

Following extensive testing, we received a devastating diagnosis—acute lymphoblastic leukemia T3 (blood cancer). The doctors informed us that he urgently needs a bone marrow transplant because he has T-cell leukemia. Unfortunately, such operations are not performed in Kyrgyzstan, and families seeking bone marrow transplants must turn to foreign clinics. Given this, we decided to seek treatment for our son abroad. However, the cost of treatment is overwhelming for our family.

I have three children: my eldest daughter is 6 years old, Dair is 4, and my youngest son is just 3 months old (born at 34 weeks). Since our son's illness, my husband has stayed by his side in the hospital while I take care of our newborn at home. Our eldest daughter continues attending school.

Doctors have noted that potential bone marrow donors could be his siblings or parents. In our case, they will check compatibility with our daughter and my husband, as I am not eligible due to my recent pregnancy, and our youngest son is too young. If no compatible donor is found within the family, an unrelated donor transplant will be considered, which further increases the cost of the procedure.

For this reason, my family and I are making a heartfelt appeal for help. We know that many kind people exist in the world, and with enough support, we may be able to gather the necessary funds for our son's treatment. Any support you can provide means the world to us. We are willing to provide all necessary medical documents and arrange an online meeting with our son to verify the authenticity and urgency of our situation.

Sadly, this disease is aggressive and progresses rapidly. In just a few days, my son's blood counts changed drastically—his white blood cell count skyrocketed to 140,000 (when the normal range is 4,000–8,000), which was shocking. We have very little time, and the sooner he receives proper, high-quality treatment, the better his chances of survival. I strongly believe that my son will recover and grow into a happy, healthy person who will live a long and fulfilling life.

I would be deeply grateful for any help or support you can offer in this difficult time.

Меня зовут Нуржана, и я обращаюсь к Вам с просьбой о помощи моему 4 летнему сыну (Мамбеталиев Даир Саматович, 05.08.2020г). Недавно только он чувствовал себя как обычный ребенок, радовался жизни, бегал, прыгал, игрался, но после простудного заболевания его состояние ухудшилось. Сначала врачи поставили диагноз острый бронхит, пролечились стало лучше, но кашель остался. Потом он пожаловался на боли в области сердца (сделали ЭХОКГ), боли под мышками и в области шеи (левая сторона) (сделали УЗИ брюшной полости и всех лимфатических узлов), сдали все анализы. Обратились к врачу нам сказали, что у него вирусная инфекция и назначила лечение. Однако, после последнего лечения состояние сына резко ухудшилось - температура под 40, отдышка, кашель, слабость, он просто лежал с закрытыми глазами и даже не мог плакать. Мы сразу же обратились к педиатру, сделали повторно УЗИ (внутренних органов, всех лимфатических узлов), рентген грудной клетки и нас сразу же экстренно госпитализировали в 3 детскую больницу с диагнозом пневмония (плеврит). Сыну провели дренирование и в связи с тяжелым состоянием он находился в реанимации. В больнице ему сделали рентген, компьютерную томографию грудной клетки и средостения. По данным КТ в области груди

было обнаружено крупное образование и было принято решение о переводе сына в отделение онкологии НЦОМиД для дальнейшего обследования.

После проведенных обследований был поставлен страшный диагноз - острый лимфобластный лейкоз Т3 (рак крови). Врачами было отмечено, что сыну необходима операция по трансплантации костного мозга, так как у сына Т-клеточный лейкоз. К сожалению, у нас в Кыргызстане такого рода операции не проводятся и дети, которым нужна пересадка костного мозга обращаются в зарубежные клиники. В этой связи нами было принято решение о лечении сына заграницей, однако, сумма лечения неподъёмная для нашей семьи.

У меня трое детей: старшая дочка 6 лет, Даир 4 года и младший сын 3 месяца (родился на 34 неделе). После болезни сына муж находится рядом с сыном, я с маленьким ребенком дома. Старшая дочка ходит в школу.

Со стороны врачей было отмечено, что в качестве донора костного мозга могут подойти братья, сестры и родители. В данном случае будут смотреть на совместимость дочку и мужа, я не подхожу так как недавно родила, и сын также не подходит в силу своего возраста. В случае несовместимости будут рассматривать трансплантацию костного мозга от неродственного донора, что также влияет на цену операции.

В связи с этим, я и моя семья обращаемся к Вам с огромной просьбой о помощи. Мы знаем, что очень много добрых людей и с миру по нитке возможно собрать деньги для лечения сына. Любая Ваша поддержка ценна для нас. Мы готовы предоставить все необходимые подтверждающие документы и организовать онлайн встречу с сыном, чтобы убедиться в достоверности и серьезности ситуации.

К сожалению, эта болезнь очень коварная и быстропрогрессирующая. Буквально за пару дней показатели крови сына настолько изменились (лейкоциты увеличились до 140 тыс., хотя в норме должно быть 4-8 тыс.), что трудно было в это поверить. Поэтому у нас очень мало времени, чем раньше начнется правильное качественное лечение, тем высоки шансы на выздоровление. Я очень верю, что мой сын вылечится и будет самым здоровым счастливым человеком на свете, и доживет до глубокой старости. Я буду Вам очень благодарна за любую помощь и содействие в этом вопросе.

The patient, DAIR MAMBETALIEV, whose details are outlined above, has been undergoing treatment at Lösante Hospital for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) since December 9, 2024. It is anticipated that the patient's treatment will continue both on an outpatient and inpatient basis for about two (2) years, subject to changes based on clinical evaluations and progress.
