Hi, my name is Joerg Everding, and I am a young father of three incredible kids and happily married. I immigrated to Canada many years ago and have done everything myself because I don't like asking for help. This is the first time I have come out of my comfort zone.

I have been working in the movie industry since 2017 and have gained priceless knowledge in that time.

What have I done exactly?:

I have become a member of our UBCP (Union of BC Performers) and am currently working on joining the DGC (Director's Guild of Canada). I have recently started studying Filmmaking online and applying those skills at film sets and my projects.

Three years ago, I started screenwriting. After several drafts and feedback from industry professionals, I am preparing to shoot my proof of concept short film "WIRED," in which I am very much invested!

I could already secure approximately 75% of the cast and most required locations to shoot the scenes. I also called in some favours to book sites free of charge to make this movie reality.

To have the potential to make it outstanding, I must level up and invest in an additional crew, other movie-specific locations, special effects, crafty and some extra equipment.

The goal is to enter the finished movie into as many contests as possible to get exposure and secure funding for future projects. Our window to shoot this project is between late October 2022 to the beginning of December 2022. The exposure that comes with the release and promotion will give me a real chance to secure an agent for screenwriting and produce more movies to tell the world.
