The Book of Mormon is filled with epic, faith-building, earth-shattering stories that we all desperately need right now. Imagine these prophets depicted in a television series just as hardcore and gritty as they were. Imagine people worldwide being inspired as they watch Lehi become a prophet, Nephi build a boat, Abinadai give his final testimony, or Teancum sneak into the Lamanite's camp.

This television series is Promised.

As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, we believe the Bible to be the word of God, and we also believe that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. Season 1 of Promised explores the biblical roots of the Book of Mormon, illustrating the link between these two holy books of scripture. 

Season 1 will be comprised of twelve 40-60 minute episodes. Episode one (which will be filmed in August) will require at least $60,000. The entirety of Season 1 will require just under $2,000,000.
