Promise for Presley

Donation protected
In mid-2018, my 14 year old niece Presley was living the life of any girl about to enter her first year of high school. As many girls were so worried about their the first year, Presley was admitted to Riley Children's Hospital with appendicitis where, after multiple visits, she received a diagnosis of a rare clear-cell cancer called sarcoma. She underwent 3 aggressive cycles of chemo, causing her to lose her hair and experience an unimaginable sickness, before receiving a clear scan in February.

Less than two full months later she again began to experience symptoms where she received news that her cancer had returned. In two months 7 new sites have grown- meaning that the cancer is back and its aggressive. Riley's Children's has reached the end of their capabilities and referred Presley and her family to another hospital.

To pursue this option the family will incur significant financial strain due to travel, treatment, accommodations, time off work, etc. While she awaits acceptance into this program, Presley has stated that she wants to attend prom April 27th. This may seem trivial but it’s all about quality of life and we want to keep her spirit high. No donations will be used for prom but an update will be provided to document her experience.
