Help Prometheus Quartet make it to MISQA

Hello, we are the Prometheus Quartet! Just as Prometheus stole fire from the gods to give to humanity, we strive to share new and meaningful forms of connection with our audiences through our performances of the beloved string quartet canon and little-known gems. We have just graduated from the Juilliard School with our masters and will be the Quartet in residence at the University of Delaware starting in the Fall of 2025, where we will be studying with the Calidore String Quartet.
Our quartet has been given an amazing opportunity to attend a world renowned string quartet academy taking place in Montreal this summer, the McGill International String Quartet Academy (linked below), as one of two selected junior quartets. With generous funding from amazing folks like you, we would be able to cover the international airfare and housing that is currently out of reach given our limited financial resources as graduate students in New York.
At MISQA, we would be able to study under the Parker Quartet, the former violist of Quatuor Ébène, and the former second violinist of the Alban Berg Quartet. These coaches represent three renowned generations of chamber musicians in the field today ranging from those actively performing on the world's biggest stages to those who have a lifetime of experience with the music we share.
In the near future, we have our upcoming fellowship residency at the University of Delaware, a teaching artist residency with Chesapeake music, and a number of recitals across America. In the long term we hope to make a career of sharing our music with others. Attending the McGill International String Quartet Academy would be a transformative opportunity for us to head in that direction. It goes without saying, but any help at all would be tremendous as it would assist us in trying to make this dream opportunity come true!
With sincere thanks
