Life enhancing treatment for our Mum

As many of you will know our Mum is currently battling Stage 4 Colorectal cancer. She was first diagnosed with Bowel Cancer in March 2020 and following an intense treatment regime, she was given the all clear in December 2020. Unfortunately, the disease returned aggressively in June 2022.

Cancer at final stages is a crippling and debilitating disease and due to health complications such as DBT and Sepsis, the NHS decided that our Mum's chemo treatment was no longer a viable option.

We are setting up this GoFundMe page to enable her to receive Dendritic Cell Therapy (DCT): This is an immunotherapy treatment with minimal side effects and it enables the body's immune system to recognise and attack the abnormal cancer cells and activate specific cells in her immune system to fight the cancer and slow down metastasis.

The treatment cannot cure the cancer but can impact the quality of her life and prolong it also.

The treatment will take place in Germany and has been approved by the German Government. The treatment has a 65% success rate and will be administered to Mum in December.

We as a family would like to do all we can, with Waheguru' Ji's blessings, to make mum more comfortable. With the support of family and friends we have set up this go fund me page to raise £16,400 to fund the treatment.

The cost of some privately administered health boosting treatments and travel will be funded by the family.

We understand we are all living in challenging times and you may not be able to support financially, but please do pray for Mum.
