Social Project - Almeida Jiu Jitsu
Donation protected
Last month while I was in Brazil, I had the chance to teach and spend some time with an amazing project run in Vila Progresso - east zone of São Paulo by Caio Almeida and Almeida Jiu Jitsu team.
He’s using Jiu-Jitsu to help unprivileged kids.
Providing them free training, food hampers, and most importantly, a chance to find purpose through the sport. It’s all about showing them there’s a better path, and helping them stay off the streets and away from the wrong crowd. What’s even more inspiring is that some seriously accomplished BJJ athletes have come out of a project. It shows just how powerful something like this can be when kids are given the right environment and support.
Seeing it all up close was honestly incredible. I would love to get our community here behind it.
I have set up a GoFundMe to help support the project. Anything you can give—big or small—goes a long way.
