Projet buste Lord Lovat à Amfreville

Pour célébrer le 80éme anniversaire du débarquement de Normandie, en partenariat avec le commune d'Amfréville et le sculpteur Dan Robert. Afin d'honnorer nos libérateurs britannniques et l'un de ses chefs, nous lançons un appel aux dons pour financer un buste en bronze de Simon Christopher FRASER. Connue sous le nom de Lord Lovat. Commandant de la 1st Brigade Service. C'est au soir du 6 juin 1944, aprés avoir relevé les parachutistes de la 6e Airborne à Pegasus Bridge, que Lord Lovat arrive au Plain à Amfréville.

Le buste sera situé à coté de la ferme Saulnier, connue sous le nom de la ferme des commandos.

Nous appelons à votre générosité, afin de concrétiser ce projet et procéder à l'inauguration lors de 80éme anniversaire.

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Normandy landings, in partnership with the town of Amfréville and the sculptor Dan Robert. In order to honor our British liberators and one of its leaders, we are appealing for donations to finance a bronze bust of Simon Christopher FRASER. Known as Lord Lovat. Commander of the 1st Brigade Service. It was on the evening of June 6, 1944, after having relieved the paratroopers of the 6th Airborne at Pegasus Bridge, that Lord Lovat arrived at Le Plain in Amfréville.

The bust will be located next to the Saulnier farm, known as the commando farm.
