Help Give 99 Schools 99 Hours of Hockey
Across the South East.
1/3 of hockey clubs in Kent/Surrey/Sussex have identified 99 schools where children could be introduced to the game.
The barrier to participation isn’t jjust sticks, balls, or astro pitches.
It’s coaching time.
Time for someone to step onto a playground or school field and show a child how to hold a stick, move the ball, and discover a sport that could stay with them for life.
£20 = 1 Hour of Hockey
One hour where a child may pick up a stick for the first time.
One hour where teamwork, confidence, and belonging begin.
Through South East Hockey Futures (SEHF) we are raising £1,980 to fund 99 hours of coaching delivered directly by local clubs into these schools.
Where the money goes
100% of funds go directly to clubs delivering hockey sessions in their identified schools across the South East.
This means:
• More children experiencing hockey for the first time
• Stronger links between schools and community clubs
• A sustainable pathway into grassroots sport
Why it matters…
One hour may seem small.
But that hour could be the moment a child discovers:
• confidence
• friendship
• teamwork
• a lifelong sport
How you can help:
• £20 funds 1 hour of hockey
• £40 funds 2 hours
• £100 supports a “SEHF 99” block of 5 hours
• £990 funds 50% (£1,980 funds the entire project — 99 hours across 99 schools )
Every contribution moves us closer to opening the game to more children.
Help us deliver 99 hours of hockey into 99 schools — one hour at a time.
