Hi, my name is Daniel Kelly, Pastor and Founder of the Harvest Center Church located in Lafayette, Louisiana. We are looking to purchase a building and property in a high crime poverty stricken area, in the heart of Lafayette, Louisiana. WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We are only as good as our weakest link. So, we decided to target here. In this particular area lies several high traffic night clubs, liquor stores, drugs, prostitution, and hopelessness. This area appears to have been abandoned from all economic constructional growth and development projects, but not anymore; The Harvest Center’s purpose will make the difference! 

Our vision is to plant a missionary work that will not be temporary but permanent, where we will equip the community by offering reading, math, personal growth, and spiritual development courses. Some of the training will include (but not limited to) afterschool programs (Homework Help), yearly mentorship programs (Girls of Virtue and boys 2 men), and physical health classes (with certified nurses and fitness trainers). Our goal is to provide necessary resources to give families an outlet and an urban alternative. 

The money raised will be used to purchase a 5,500sqft building and a vacant lot. The lot is to build a 3,500sqft state of the art youth facility.

Our prayer is to raise the necessary funds or more by the end of the summer of 2016.

This is big! This project will have major impact on the community at large. The effect of this missionary work and outreach has the kingdom potential both naturally and spiritually to shift the whole southeast region of Louisiana in a major way. When I think about the hundreds of kids, the single parents, the drop out ratio, the pregnancy ratio, and even the perception of the north side of Lafayette, Louisiana, my heart drops. After much prayer this scripture came to mind: Ezekiel 36:26-38. Read it, it’s good!  This is your opportunity to give into something that will actually begin to “Make America Great Again”, by re-building one community at a time. Help us re-build!
