Project Zanzibar - Rebuilding a Community

Project Zanzibar seeks to build, develop and support the village of Kizimkazi. This includes the building of a fully functioning madrasah and the refurbishment of the local mosque. Families need regular access to food and medical aid and our team on the ground aims to provide these essentials throughout the year.

We need 313 generous people to donate or raise £313 to help us rebuild a community. We have a two-part plan to aid the people of Kizimkazi:

Madrasah - A building has been secured to establish the madrasah. Currently, the building is only a structure without any internal facilities. We intend to acquire state of the art equipment along with the best teachers available to deliver an excellent learning experience for children. We believe in using long-term sustainable sources of energy to power the everyday utilisation of the madrasah. This will be achieved by using solar energy as well as efficient water-sourcing systems.

Food & Medical Supplies - Kizimkazi is a relatively deprived area and requires consistent supplies to meet the needs of the people who reside there. We have a partnering charity on the ground that can assist in securing food and medical packs which would alleviate some of the challenges families face due to impoverishment. Our objective is to provide vital food and medical supplies on a quarterly basis.

Please donate generously and share with family and friends.
