URGENT UPDATE:
Please help! Old does not mean unimportant! Poor 12 y.o. Luna has been through a lot of owners in her later life, neglected and passed on again and again when her health conditions became clear. Poor Luna has arthritis - and Degenerative Myelopathy, a paralysing disorder that could have been prevented if the breeder had bothered to do a cheap and easy DNA test for her parents. She's been let down by people at every stage of her life.
She was last sold for just £50 online, then finally given to us, when her medical conditions became clear to her new owner. Throughout all, she's kept her happy smile and her loving nature shines through!

We don't know how long Luna has left as her paralysing disorder continues to develop. The vet estimates between 6 and 18 months. But with your help, we can make those the best months of her life! She loves long lie-ins on her memory foam mattress, is delighted by her new toys, and basks daily in more cuddles and love than she's ever known before, thanks to our dedicated foster care.
We desperately need funds for Luna's ongoing care - for food, medication, vets bills - and of course for toys and treats and all the things that make life worth living for a wonderful granny woof like Luna!
She may not have long left, but she's not ready for the scrap heap yet! Please donate and help us show Luna what love is - together we can make the last wobbly steps of Luna's life journey the best she's ever taken!
Then finally, when she decides her time here is done, we will help Luna take her final step onto the rainbow bridge with compassion and dignity - knowing she's loved and safe and cherished, forever.
You can follow her story on fb: Lunas Last Journey.

If we raise more funds than Luna needs in her lifetime, they'll go into our Project Wolfheart sanctuary funds, to help other animals:

Project Wolfheart provides a wolf & hybrid wolf-dog sanctuary, rescue and foster facility here in the UK. As well as helping animals in need, we run a community hub to reconnect people with nature - we provide outreach education on conservation and rewilding, animal assisted therapy and nature projects at our woodland centre.

Natalie, aka Wolf Momma, has spent almost 3 decades working in animal behaviour - much of that with wolves and wolfdogs - starting with her own behaviour therapy organisation Naturally Pets and of course her world famous Watermill Wolves acting team. She has dedicated most of her life to education, conservation, rescuing and rehoming wolves and wolf-dogs. We've now got to the stage where we are getting more requests to take on rescue animals than we have enclosures for so it is finally time for us expand on what we have with the ultimate plan being to relocate to a much bigger facility.

So as well as helping animals in direct need, your donations will help us expand our facilities - this in turn means we are able to provide more services to animals in need and to the local community - like animal assisted therapy in schools and retirement homes. You are helping improve wildlife conservation efforts and most importantly you're helping save the lives of animals that could have otherwise ended up losing their lives. Unlike big rescues, no donations go to salaries or marketing - all funds are spent directly on animal care (vet bills, medications, food etc) or facilities at our rescue and conservation centre.
